Mexico has consequently begun a process increase its presence on the continent with the opening of new missions in various African countries. “Legacies of the slave trade are unavoidable. Cape Coast Castle, one of many historic coastal forts, was where slaves were held before being dispatched to America and the Caribbean.” FACT NOTE: White people were trading Slaves from Ashanti and Fante tribes! They were not hunting, but trading for weapons and all kind of "advanced" goods! Slaves came mainly from areas, such as Northern Ivory Coast, Upper East region, Upper West, Northern Togo and Burkina Faso. Very rare cases of Fante, Ga or Ashante people! Whoever want to trace "their ancestors"; search and visit those Northern places! Not all West African tribes were "Victims", but dealers! CNN Travel has released a list of 19 places to visit in the year 2019.
Fourth on the list is Ghana, a country with some of the world’s most diverse and amazing tourist sites. Cape Coast Castle is a fortification that was first built of timber in 1653 along the Gulf of Guinea in Ghana, West Africa. The Castle was built for the trade in timber and gold, but later it was used in the trans-Atlantic slave trade. The British used the castle as colonial government sit, as Cape Coast became for some years the colonial capital of British Gold Coast.
Aburi Botanic Garden is one of the most beautiful peaceful and fascinating places in Ghana. The Garden covers an area of 64.8 hectares (160 acres).
Kakum National Park is one of the best known national parks in Ghana; it is in the southern part of Ghana, in what is known as the Central Region.

Ghana as the center of the world, according to the Tourism Minister, has a lot of untapped business opportunities, especially, in the tourism industry, which if well exploited, could yield high returns. In 2015 tourism and travel directly contributed a total of around GHC4.5 million (more than US $1 million) to Ghana’s GDP. This amounts to about 3.3% of national GDP. Ghana’s meandering coast is dotted with numerous forts and castles. These monuments were built between the 15th and 17th centuries by early modern European chartered companies.
